There are two types of film lovers. DVD or going to the theatre. I go occasionally
to see selected films I want to see on the big screen. Powerful! But, I usually
prefer to buy DVD's and watch more casually from the comfort of my home.
I have a vast collection of DVD's. Do I watch them more than once to justify
buying as opposed to renting? Yes. I am too lazy to rent and than have to go back
and return. Too lazy to join Netflix.
I am huge on buying full seasons of certain TV series. Love watching without
the commercials. Costly, yes and no. The cost of going to the theatre can be more than purchasing a DVD. Especially on release day- Tuesday's. Always buy new releases on a Tuesday through Thursday at most stores. Friday is when the sale price comes off, and
it goes back to a higher cost.
My favorite films are mostly action and thrillers. They just keep my interest up more. - Jonathan L
